Welcome to the Bainbridge United Methodist Church website! We hope you will find this resource helpful to you as you seek to know us better! We exist to model for our community and the world around us what a growing disciple of Jesus Christ looks like. Our hope is that by modeling faith in Jesus, others will be drawn to want to know him deeply.
We seek to live out our faith in Jesus through our core practices of vibrant worship, deepening discipleship and faith growing service. We are committed to serving Christ through the United Methodist Church. As a theologically moderate congregation, we want to worship God with every part of us, and to do so, we gather, in person and on Facebook to worship at 10:00 am each Sunday morning. To continue growing in faith, we gather at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings for Sunday school with a time of coffee and conversation starting at 8:30 am. In addition, we have Bible study on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 pm at the church. Though a variety of avenues, we look to grow our faith through serving others. Paint Valley Ministries is an ongoing ministry that distributes food every Monday 7-8 pm and Wednesday 10:00-11:30am, and cares for needs as the opportunity arises. Our funeral dinner service is an opportunity to practice care for those who are grieving the loss of a loved ones as we provide a meal and tender care for the family. Throughout the year, there are a number of short-term opportunities to serve in the name of Jesus throughout our community and world.
We are excited about your interest in Bainbridge United Methodist Church. Above all, we want you to see this as a peek into the life of BUMC, a loving, growing community of faith in Bainbridge. Thank you for connecting with us, and we hope to see you soon!
